  • Beschrijving: After many years of working as a seaman, Andreas (Nikos Xanthopoulos) returns to his island in order to clear his dead father’s name, pay off his debts and take back the family fishing boat. Giannis (Manos Katrakis) is the island’s most powerful man and was responsible for his father’s death. Andreas falls in love with the man’s daughter (Katerina Vasilakou) without knowing who she is. His feelings, however, do not change when he finds out. In contrast, however, Giannis refuses to accept this relationship and insists on his daughter marrying his assistant Stavros (Stefanos Stratigos). The two suitors fight for the girl, until the father realizes that his confidant is malicious and unworthy - and entrusts his daughter to Andreas.
